Why do Mentors choose to work with more than one startup?

"I want to give back to community"

Giving back to society or a specific ecosystem, community is what motivates some of the startup mentors that are part of the 5,000 Cities value proposition.

"Part of equity would be great"

Though some startup mentors and entrepreneur consultants say they were 'burned' when it comes to equity — some express a clear interest in getting a stake in a company they consult.
